Mobile MUSE Network

Mobile MUSE NetworkThe Mobile MUSE (Media-rich Urban Shared Experience) Network is an economic development initiative aiming to establish Vancouver as a global leader in mobile-social media applications. The $5M third phase of applied research (MUSE3 – 2007-2009) is focusing on “community generated media” to activate “live spaces”. More simply, MUSE3 is developing unprecedented technologies to enliven open public spaces with rich media experiences. The "digital" dimension is that mobile-social is an entirely new frontier. The "learning" dimension is that mobile experience is intrinsically "constructivist" - these developments are essential to the next generation of learning.
